Get into Hot Water! - Focus on Heat Pump Water Heaters
Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 7 PM – 7:45 PM
A quarter to a third of your home's energy use is for heating hot water. A high efficiency hot water heater can cut that energy use by 2/3, and NYSEG and National Grid are now offering a $700 rebate off the price of one of these! HeatSmart CNY can offer an additional $350 to low-to-moderate income households through our Affordability Grant.

Workshops feature an educational presentation about clean heating and cooling by the HeatSmart CNY team and Q&A with a panel of expert installers. It's a great chance to get to know the options available for your home or building.
What is it really like to live with a heat pump? How does it handle upstate NY winters? What differences in energy bills have they seen? What was the installation process like? Answer these questions and more at our open house events. Homeowners and their installers will be present to talk about the systems.
Case studies, online workshops, and more! Visit our Video page for prior webinars.
While workshops and open houses are our main events, you can find us around CNY tabling and speaking to community groups, as well as involved in conferences and training events.
